1947 First Printing

Colt's 1947 Catalog

Colt's Patent Fire Arms Manufacturing Co.

Small Arms Division

10-30-1946 was the first year a Colt Catalog was published after the War.   In this first 1947 printing issue, there are no dates, no prices, one disclaimer bar, no .25 cal. pistol, but the most important point is the Colt name is:  Colt's Patent Fire Arms Manufacturing Co., Small Arms Division, which changed to Colt's Manufacturing Co. in 1947's second printing.

Colt had discontinued civilian sales of the Woodsman automatic .22 pistol during the War because they produced a target model for the Army and stopped selling their Civilian models.
