 1940 July-1 (1930 Jan-1 double strike-thrus)

Colt Revolvers and Automatic Pistols Illustrated

Price List July 1940

Using a January-1, 1940 with double strike-thrus

The thin brochure is 11" x 8 1/4", 12 pages.  Only the revolvers are shown here.

The reason for the January-1, 1940 strike-through is because the government

raised the excise tax and Colt just tacked on the increase for this July-1, 1940 printing.

All other paperwork for 1940 is shown below

in scans from 'The Colt Book of Paper'.
