Colt Automatic Pistol catalog/handbook for the Caliber 45 Government Model.  It measures 4 3/16 x 8 1/4 inches when closed. When opened, the page unfolds to 8 inches wide. There are 8 double pages which picture the pistol, give a schemata, describe its function and other topics. Be careful, there are lots of fakes on eBay for this handbook. 

 

Pay attention to the back of the handbook and the printer logo "T.F. Rady", there is an error in the Colt Book in that the Rady is mis-spelled in the book on page 412.  The later M-50-R version is shorter (1/4) lengthwise than the earlier M-50.
