Harrison E. Webster, M.D., LL.D. , president of Union University
He was born in Angelica N. Y., in 1841. Leaving his class in Union College for service in the Civil War, he returned and was graduated in 1868; held the Professorship of Natural History at Union, 1873-83, and that of Geology' and Natural History in Rochester University, 1883-88. He was elected President of Union College in 1888 and resigned in 1894.
