Revolver was shipped from Colt to: John Jovino Gun Shop N.Y. Mob connection
This box, which did not ship with this revolver, does not have the serial number on the bottom. It was apparently shipped to Zurich, Switzerland to a gun dealer by the name of W. Glaser, Waffen. It measures 8 1/2 x 3 3/4 x 1 3/8 in. And sports a top label for "American Manufacture." I do not know if the top sticker is from Colt or not. The Zurich dealer "W. Glaser" sticker shows a business date from 1866 to 1936, three years before the start of WW3 in Europe. 'Waften' in German, means 'weapons' and 'Sportwaffen' is 'Sports Weapons'. The box ended up in an antique mall in middle America in 2022.
