Colt in 1962 launched its archery division
To make a big splash into the archery market, Colt partnered with the NFAA and the Sahara hotel in Las Vegas to co-sponsor the first ever 'Vegas shoot', This event has since grown to become one of the largest archery tournaments and trade shows in the world. Colt (vintagearchery.org)
